The Louisiana History Museum proudly announces the release of the Central Louisiana Photographic Retrospective. This 35 minute DVD features some of the photographs shown on Alexandria, Louisiana Cable Channel Four as well as some until now unpublished photographs of Central Louisiana from the 1860s to the 1960s.

The DVD comes in a colorful jacket featuring the Alexandria Public Library building, constructed in 1907. The DVD also features the music used on the original 5 and 6 minute programs shown on the Alexandria cable channel.

If you are a historic preservation fan, or just love history, this is the DVD for you. It would also be an ideal gift for friends or family. Over 500 have been sold...and no one has been disappointed!

All proceeds from the sale of the DVD go to the museum operating fund.

The cost is $20.00 per DVD if obtained at the museum (located at 503 Washington Street) or by contacting Dale Genius, Museum Director, at 318-445-7730 between noon and 9:00 p.m. any day of the week.
